Terry Elaine (Watkins) Moffitt

Terry Elaine Moffitt, Nee Watkins, of White Hall, IL went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2024, at the age of 67 while at her home, with Family by her side.  She was born on June 24, 1956, to Robert and Barbara (Monroe) Watkins, in Jacksonville, IL. Terry was a Vibrant, Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Daughter. She was known for her love of family; she was a true believer in the Lord and found comfort in her Faith.

Terry is survived by her spouse, Michael Moffitt Sr. of White Hall, daughter, Brenda (Steve) Schulte of Golden Eagle, son Robert (Tonya) Moffitt, of White Hall, daughter, Christina (Companion Evan Boucher) Baalman, of Golden Eagle, IL.  Stepchildren; Mike Moffitt Jr, of White Hall, Michelle (Lyndell) Ford of Hillview, Mark Moffitt of White Hall, Matt Moffitt of Springfield.

Grandchildren; Geoffrey (Mindy) Schulte of Fieldon, Dakota (Fiancé Haley) Schulte of Jerseyville, Jason (Jessica) Price of Hope Mills, NC, Wesley (Gretchen) Baalman of Prattville Al, Sylvia Baalman of Meppen, Robby (Harley) Moffitt, Dwayne (Companion Amanda) and Daniel Moffitt all of White Hall, Step-Grandchildren; Corey McEvers of Roodhouse, Cody (Trista) Moffitt of Carrollton, Devin Moffitt of Meredosia, Shelby (Dylan) Ford of Manchester, and Waylon Moffitt of White Hall. Her sister, Cynthia Newcomer of Jacksonville, also survives her.

Terry was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, Roy, and Mabel (Curry) Monroe, Harry, and Grace (Hoelscher) Watkins, a brother, Mike Watkins, and her father and mother-in-law, James Earl, and Gladys Marie (Proffitt) Moffitt.

In her career Terry worked for State of Illinois Prisoner Review Board, and then became a Homemaker, she also served as a Board member for Two Rives Crime Stoppers until her illness. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church, and recently started attending Calvary Baptist in White Hall. Terry enjoyed Yard Sales, camping, fishing, and most of all her Family; she also enjoyed watching TV, and playing Designer Puzzle games.

Services will be held on April 27, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, 130 Raines St White Hall, family will greet guests from 11:00am-Noon, a Memorial service will start at Noon, Pastor Greg Harding will Officiate. In Lieu of flowers, Terry would like for donations to go the Boyd Health Care Services, Gas Cards for cancer Patients program in C/O Deidre Sharrow.

Hough Funeral Home of Raymond, Illinois is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Per Terry request she will be cremated and private burial at a later date.
