Billy E. Fath, 80

Billy E. Fath, 80, of Hillsboro died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 7:03 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at Hough & Son's Funeral Home, Hillsboro with the Rev. Ralph Ward officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro. Friends may call on Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born on July 7, 1930 in Hillsboro, he was the son of the late Herschel and Bernice (Frame) Fath. He married Alice L. Kunz on Feb. 21, 1959 and she preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 2007.

A graduate of Hillsboro High School with the class of 1948, he was employed at Caterpillar for 33 years. He was a lifelong farmer and drove a school bus for Hillsboro schools for 19 years.

He was an avid motorcycle rider.

Mr. Fath is survived by two sons, Tom (wife April) Fath of La Place and Roger (wife Joyce) Fath of Hillsboro; two daughters, Karen (husband Alan) Beard of Lutz, FL and Amy Fath of Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren, Kimberly, Steven, Chad, Eric, Adam, Jayde, Jordyn, Amber, Michelle and Hunter; and six great-grandchildren.
