David Lee Short, 48

David Lee Short, 48, of Hillsboro, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at 10:25 a.m. at Springfield.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 11, at 11 a.m. at Hough & Sons Funeral Home, Hillsboro. The Rev. Randy Sands will officiate.

Born Feb. 6, 1963, at Chevely, MD, he was the son of Thomas Lee Short and Mary Baran Norene.

Mr. Short was a graduate of Nathan Hale Ray High School in East Haddam, CT, and served in the U.S. Navy. He attended the Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro and was a past manager and client adviser at CRC in Irving.

Survivors include his mother, Mary (husband William) Norene of Hillsboro; two brothers, Robert B. Brown III of St. Louis and Michael T. Short of Litchfield; and two sisters, Janice Nowlan of Vandalia, and Stacey Lavery of Baltimore, MD.
