James L. Borgic Jr., 31, of Hillsboro died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at his residence.
Friends
are invited to call Monday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hough &
Sons Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home with the Rev. James Bailie
officiating. Mausoleum encryptment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery,
Hillsboro.
Born Sept. 30, 1979, at Litchfield, he was a son of
James and Kathy (Martincic) Borgic. He graduated from Hillsboro High
School in 1997 and attended Illinois State University in Bloomington
where he majored in English. He was a member of the Rembrandt Society.
Mr.
Borgic worked at the Montgomery County Treasurer's office and was a
member of the Baptist Church in Schram City. He was an avid Chicago
White Sox fan. He enjoyed and never missed a MDA summer camp.
In
addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Suzanne (husband
Steve) Tatham of Hillsboro, and Laura (husband Jason) Lessman of
Hillsboro; grandmother, Wanita Fern Paden of Hillsboro; two nephews,
Billy Newberry and Dylan Borgic; and two nieces, Cindi Borgic and Alexis
Lessman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MDA.
