Lyle K. Welch II, 62

Lyle Keith Welch II, 62, of Springfield, died Friday Feb. 25, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at noon Saturday, March 5, at Hough Memorial Home in Farmersville.

Born Oct. 19, 1948, at Springfield, he was the son of Lyle K. Welch and Mildred (Miller) Carnduff.

Mr. Welch was employed by P & P Construction in Riverton. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed indoor gardening.

Survivors include his parents, Lyle (wife Winona) Welch, and Mildred (husband George) Carnduff, all of Springfield; a daughter, Sara Mackenzie; a stepdaughter, Vicki Evans; siblings, Russ (wife Bonnie) Welch of Springfield, Debbie Welch of Farmersville, Joanie (husband Joe) Blevins of Litchfield; Karen (husband George) Guinn of Walshville, Rhonda (husband Rick) Besco of Yorkville, and Greg Carnduff of Litchfield.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Cantrall.
