Bessye G. Noyes, 94

Bessye G. Noyes, 94, of Morrisonville, formerly of Hillsboro, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

Friends are invited to call Thursday, Feb. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hough & Son's Funeral Home in Hillsboro. There will be an Eastern Star service at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Small officiating. Burial will be at Cress Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Born Tuesday, June 6, 1916, at Morrisonville, she was a daughter of the late Reasoner and Lela (Cook) Wells. She married Henry Harold Noyes Sept. 12, 1936, and he preceded her in death May 29, 1994.

Mrs. Noyes operated an antique shop. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hillsboro and the Hermon Chapter OES 95.

Survivors include three brothers, Donald Wells of Morrisonville, Wilbur Wells of Shertz, TX, and Truman Wells of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Dale, Dwayne, Tom and Keith Wells.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to her church or Montgomery County Cancer Association.
