Peggy Ann Stride, 73
Peggy Ann Stride, 73, of Raymond, died Saturday, Feb.
12, 2011, at Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care in Hillsboro.
Funeral
services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Hough Funeral Home
in Raymond. Pastor Dave Ziegenbein from Pleasant Hill Christian Church
in Raymond will officiate. Private family burial will be held at a later
date at Asbury Cemetery in Raymond.
A visitation will be held
from 3 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday. Hough Funeral Home in
Raymond is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stride was born July 17, 1937, in Rountree Township, the daughter of the late James K. and Ather (Barr) Potterf.
She
married Howard "Wimp" Beiermann on Feb. 16, 1954, and they later
divorced. Her second marriage was to Richard "Dick" Stride and he
preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stride is survived by six children,
Carol Blanton of Cuba, MO, Patty (husband Jules) Varwig of Staunton,
Brenda Beiermann of Harvel, David Beiermann of Irving, Janet Honaker of
Carlinville, and Mary (husband Matt) Gates of Nokomis; 14 grandchildren;
and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two
sons, Mark Beiermann and Bobby Stride; a granddaughter; three brothers,
Jim, William and Paul Potterf; and a sister, Ruth Potterf.
