Teresa Lynn Stephens, 43
Teresa Lynn Stephens, 43, of Vandalia but formerly of Hillsboro, died Thursday, March 17, at her residence.
Funeral
services for Ms. Stephens will be at Hough and Son's Funeral Home in
Hillsboro at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22. Mark Noyes will officiate, and
burial will be at Irving Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon,
Tuesday, at the funeral home.
She was born in Hillsboro on Oct.
25, 1967 to the late George and Darlene (Shelton) Christian. Employed at
the Hillsboro Journal for over 19 years, Poly-Pak and Shipping in
Vandalia for 10 years, and at Pinnacle Foods in St. Elmo. She attended
Free Methodist churches in Hillsboro and Irving.
Ms. Stephens is
survived by two daughters, Kayla Stephens of Hillsboro and Sheila
Stephens of Litchfield; one son, Kelly Stephens, Jr., of Irving; her
companion, Donald Davis; four brothers, Richard (wife Vicki) Christian
of Taylor Springs, Ron Christian of Irving, Don (wife Darla) Christian
and William "Bill" (wife Heidi) Christian, all of Hillsboro; two
sisters, Brenda (husband Harry) Logan and Jane (husband Rod) Bowman, all
of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was expecting her
first granddaughter.
