Betty (Otsuka) White 88 of Hillsboro passed away May 11, 2017 at her residence. Her Japanese name was Shizuko.

She was born Sept 20, 1928 in Nagoya Japan to Yoshio and Kazu (Mizutani) Otsuka.

She was a homemaker.

She was married to Dale White in May 16, 1958 at the American embassy in Tokyo Japan and he preceded her in death Dec. 2014.

She is survived by one brother in law Russell (Donna) White of Coffeen and two sisters in law Jessie Neathery of Greenville and Takeyo Otsuka of Sakyo, Kyoto, Japan, and several nieces and nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister.

Memorials can be made to Mt. Moriah Cemetery

Memorial grave side services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on  Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Coffeen with Rev. Randy Sands officiating, pastor of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
