Clara C. Lessman 92 of Raymond passed away June 14, 2017 at her residence.

She was born April 18, 1925 in Walshville IL to William and Emma A. (Niehaus) Lowenstein.

She was a cook for the Panhandle School District from 1968 until 1986.

She was married to Vernon Neunaber in 1950 and he preceded her in 1968 she married Howard Lessman in 1975 and he preceded her in 2006.

She is survived by one son Max Neunaber of Harvel one daughter Janece Neunaber of Mattoon one step son Greg Lessman of Springfield and one step daughter Judy Lessman of Springfield 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and one sister Viola Baumann of Hamel. She was preceded in death by her parents two husbands one step son Gary Lessman and 4 sisters.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel, Harvel women’s club and Ladies Aide of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an avid pinochle player and enjoyed doing crafts and gardening.

Memorials can be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or Raymond-Harvel Ambulance Service.

Visitation will be Sunday June 18 from 5-7 P.M. at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond.

Funeral service will be Monday June 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel with Rev. Scott Busacker officiating.

Burial will be in Harvel Cemetery.
