Earl Barnes

Earl Barnes, age 70, of Litchfield, passed away at Carlinville Rehab and Health Care Center in Carlinville on, March 20, 2017.

He was born on May 31, 1946 in St. Louis, MO the son of William and Josephine Dunham Barnes

He was a Viet Nam Veteran having served in the US Army 
He was a member of the Litchfield Moose.
He was a supervisor at Echlin retiring in 1993, after 25 yrs
He married Anna Hudgins, which ended in divorce.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and Hot Rods.
He is survived by a son; James (Christy) Barnes of Chatham, IL, daughters; Missy Barnes of Atwater and Kathy Black of TX, brothers; Harvey Barnes of CA, Larry Barnes of Springfield, Bill Robbins of Litchfield, Ronnie Robbins of Carlinville and Robert Robbins of Carlinville and 4 Grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters; Shirley Barnes and Virginia Schuette.

Committal Services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, at 2:00pm on March 28, 2017.

Memorials maybe left to the Litchfield Veterans Garden.
