Francis Ray Friesland 50 of Staunton passed away April 12, 2017 at the residence of his niece Charlotte.

He was born Aug. 20, 1966 in Litchfield IL to Melvin A. and Blanche Agney Friesland.

He was a kind giving person with a huge heart and always willing to help anyone who needed it and he enjoyed helping others.

He is survived by Brothers Melvin Friesland Jr., Charles A. Friesland, Oren G. Friesland, Chester T. Friesland, John R. Friesland and sisters Elsie Chapps, Leota Blevins, Charlotte Ferguson, Maggie Sidener, Margery Moulton and Roxie Tyler and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents one brother George Friesland and one sister Lena Daisy Friesland.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Monday April 17, 2017 at Hough & sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with funeral services following at   2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Clear Springs Cemetery in Hillsboro.
