Helen L. (Blount) Brown 95 of Raymond passed away April 6, 2017 at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

She was born Nov. 2, 1921 in Rural Morrisonville to James and Anna (Johnson) Blount

She was a farm wife and a homemaker; she was Clerk of Zanesville TWP for over 20 years and enjoyed craft shows and quilting. She was a member of the St. Raymond’s Catholic Church.

She married Clarence Brown on April 16, 1940 and he preceded her Jan 3, 2004.

She is survived by special friend Raymond Kopp of Butler, one daughter Vicky (Frank) Wooten of Mt. Zion Il, two sons Phillip (Jane) Brown of Raymond and Dean Brown of Hillsboro, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Clarence one sister Leota Yard and 4 brothers James, Russell, Robert and George Blount.

Funeral Mass will be Monday April 10, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Raymond’s Catholic Church in Raymond with Fr. Gerald Bunse officiating, Rosary will begin at 8:30 A.M., and a visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Monday.

Burial will be in St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
