Imogene Hudelson 87 of Hillsboro passed away Oct. 20, 2017 at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

She was born March 26, 1930 in Coffeen IL to Walter and Cordia Gertrude (Elam) Ruppe.

She was a CNA at Hillsboro Hospital for 8 years and Hillsboro Nursing and Rehab for 8 years.

She married John T. Hudelson of Hillsboro on Feb. 22, 1947 and he preceded her June 8, 1989.

She is survived by three sons Gary John Hudelson of Roanoke VA., William Douglas Hudelson of Taylorville and Donald Harry Hudelson of Hillsboro, 7 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren one brother George Ruppe of Vandalia and one sister Ila Butler of Hillsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband John and one grandchild Julie Beth Sherbocker.

She was a Member of the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro where she was a Sunday school teacher, and she was a Sunday school teacher for many years at the Calvary Baptist church in Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be Wednesday Oct 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, visitation will beginning at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Randy Sands officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
