Kenneth Titsworth 92of Hillsboro passed away Sat. March 11, 2017 at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach Fl.

He was born March 22, 1924 in Walshville IL to Mae (Simpson) Titsworth.

He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1942 and from St Louis College of Mortuary Science in 1945.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and member of the First Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

He owned Montgomery Co. Vault service with his brother in law Bob Hefley in 1948; He worked as a laborer at Eagle-Picher and owned a fishing resort in Minnesota for years.

He married Juanita Schoeneweis on June 22, 1946 and she survives.

Surviving are Nephews Carl Cress wife Cheryl of Hillsboro, Bruce Cress wife Betty of Phoenix AZ., Max Cress wife Kim of Hillsboro and Jim Hefley of Collinsville, Nieces Donna Springer husband Denny of Hillsboro, Connie Harling husband Jim of Hillsboro and Cindy Simburger husband Steve of Taylor Springs several great Nieces and Nephews one sister Emma Cress of Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by his mother in 1992 and Sister Wilma Hefley in 1991.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter; he enjoyed playing shuffleboard and loved cats.

Memorials can be directed to the First Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

Funeral service will be Saturday March 18, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with a visitation starting at 11:30 A.M. at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Rev. Ralph Ward will officiate.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Graveside military honors will be performed by Taylor Springs VFW #1306 and Irving American Legion Post #425.
