Kerry Alvin “Gator” Garrett, age 53, of Springfield, but formally of Farmersville, passed away Sunday June 26, 2016 at 10:00pm, near Glenarm.

He was born in El Paso, TX on Oct. 22 1962, the Son of the late Betty Argo

He was a 1981 Graduate of Lincolnwood High School and had worked in the Springfield area Hotels assisting with hospitality/banquets/conventions and also for Excel Decorators Inc. He was a past member of both the Farmersville Waggoner Ambulance and Fire Dept.

Kerry enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends.

He was currently employed as a Driver by Springfield Plastics in Alburn.

Kerry is survived a brother, Terry (Gayle) Garrett of Oakland, IL, twin brother, Larry Allen (Patty) Garrett of Elmore, AL, brother, James Garrett of Deatsville, AL, a sister Vernie Buckner of Roswell, NM and brother Daniel Christopher of Girard

Many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends also survive him.

Family and Friends may come visit on Saturday July 9, 2016 from 2-4 at the K of C Hall in Farmersville; a celebration of Gators life will be officiated by Greg Nimmo at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Farmersville/Waggoner Fire Dept. or the Farmersville/Waggoner Ambulance
