Linda Sue (Boerckel) Burnett 57 of Hillsboro passed away May 3, 2016 at her residence.

She was born June 28, 1958 in Greenville IL to Clarence and Dorothy Boerckel.

She was a graduate of Greenville High school and she attended St. James Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

She was an Assistant activities director at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab in Taylor Springs.

She was married to Richard “Dick” Burnett for over 35 years.

She is survived by her Husband Dick and one son Kyle Louis Burnett of Taylorville and one step son Michael Dean Burnett of Hillsboro, and one brother Gary Boerckel of Litchfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at St James Baptist Church in Hillsboro on May 9, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. James Hayes Officiating.

Private family burial will be at a later date.
