Lynn Robert Thompson Sr. 67 of Hillsboro formally of California passed away Sept 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 27, 1950 in Minneapolis Minnesota to Lloyd and Lois Thompson. He worked as shift supervisor at CVS in Hillsboro for 6 years and previously as maintenance supervisor at Bethany Homes nursing facility in Ripon CA for 21 years. He is a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1970 until 1978. He enjoyed fishing and was a huge NASCAR fan. He married Deborah Grau in 1970 and she preceded him in death in 2001. He married  Pamela Cress in 1979 they were married 37 years and she survives. He is survived by his father Lloyd Thompson of Manteca CA, 2 sons Lynn R. Thompson Jr. and fiancé Tiffany Evanick of Hillsboro and Robin Thompson of Stanley VA, 2 daughters April Korsmeyer husband Mark of Pocahontas IL and Letitia Chandler husband Chris of Belleville IL, Grandchildren Audrii Thompson, Sophia and Lorryn Hughes.Tylor, Landon, Hailey and Savannah Thompson, Eric, Mark, Amber and Dylan Korsmeyer, Braxton, Marissa and Alivia Chandler. Surviving are one brother Snapper Lloyd Thompson Jr. of Modesto CA 2 sisters Lori Lund of South Carolina and Letitia Sullivan of San Antonio TX. He was preceded in death by his mother Lois and one brother Larry Thompson. A memorial service will be held Monday Sept 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at his residence with family.
