Robert Loarn Seaton, age 79 of Atwater passed away May 19, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.  He was born near Atwater on Nov. 17 1937, the son of Loarn Jasper and Anita Marie Stewart Seaton.

He worked as a contractor, having owned Seaton Construction and also worked for several companies, that specialized in building pole frame barns and buildings.

He married Sharon Petcher in Hillsboro on Sep. 13, 1956 and she survives.

Besides his wife, He leaves 3 daughters; Katherine Seaton of Atwater, Amy J. Seward of Butler, Angela K. Seaton of Springfield, and a son Rob Seaton of Centralia.  A brother Bill of Fayette and 2 sisters, pearl (Harold) Huston of Girard and Pauline Caudle of Litchfield survive him. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, and 22 great grand. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Wayne Seaton and Herb Seaton and his sister Virginia A. Wallace.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 24, at 6:00pm at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond with burial at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm at the Funeral Home.
