Roger G. Myers 54 of Shattuc IL formerly of Hillsboro passed away Feb. 10, 2018 at his residence.
He was born Aug 17, 1963 to Francis and Dorcas (Rainey) Myers.
He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
He worked on an egg farm.
He served in the US Army. He was a member to the Fort Hills Society, The Farm Heritage, SAR and the VFW.
He was an avid train collector and he helped build the train track at the Farm Heritage Museum in Greenville
He married Carol Robertson and the later divorced.
He is survived by his three children Michael Myers of Taylor Springs, Kayla (Terry) Lehnen of Chatham and Christopher Myers of Hillsboro, Four Grandchildren Alayna Myers, Jaelynn Myers, Natalee Lehnen all of Chatham, Kayson Myers of Taylor Springs, three step grandchildren Jabin, Madi and Paige Lehnen two sisters Marsha (Larry) Hopkins of Shattuc IL and Patti (Pat) Hummert of Overland Mo., three Nephews James Hopkins, Paul Hopkins and Brian Hummert one niece Melissa Hummert and one great nephew Skyler Hopkins and three great nieces Savannah, Sadie and Brooklyn Hopkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Russell Guy and Kathryn F. Myers and Marshall and Esther R. Rainey.
Funeral services will be Friday Feb. 16th at 2:00 P.M. with Don Hudelson officiating, visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM until service time at the Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will be in Elm Lawn cemetery in Litchfield.
