Ronald O. “Ronnie” Loyd, 50 of Litchfield, passed away at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton on Tuesday  June 27, 2017.

He was born in E. St. Louis, IL,  on 10/ 24/1966,  the son of Dr. Dayton (Kim) Loyd of Meza, Az. and Linda Summers Henson of Goreville, Il

 He was a graduate of Lincolnwood High School class of 1984 he also attended Lincoln Land Community College . He served in the US Army in telecommunication. Ron loved hot rods and graphics and spending time with family and friends.

He was a self employed doing Custom Graphics and had also worked in the Parts dept. at Niehaus Cycle Sales. 

 Besides his parents he is survived by a daughter Alyssa Loyd of Litchfield, a brother Toney (Daniele) Loyd of Carbondale, Il, sister Cheryl (David) Pope of Waggoner, IL, and brothers Daryl (Patty) Parker of OK and Marvin (Chris Maytas) Parker of O'Fallen, MO, and step-sisters, Christine Russell of Girard and Patti Ibberson of Girard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his Step father Dennis Greenwalt.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Sunday July 2nd at Houghs in Raymond   Visitation will be held on Sunday July 2nd from 2-4pm also at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond and burial will be at Edgewood cemetery in Litchfield.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made the American Heart Association 
Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is assisting the family.
