Rose Marie Mormino 98 of Hillsboro passed away July29, 2017 at Heritage Manor in Litchfield.

She was born Nov 7, 1918 in St Louis Mo to Richard Diego and Marie Grace Sansone Mormino.

She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Fontbonne College in St Louis.

She was a teacher in the Hillsboro School District for over 42 years. She enjoyed playing piano especially for her students, spending time at the library and with family and friends. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic church, retired teachers association and Fontbonne College Alumni.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Rose and Dennis Barker of Butler, Tricia and Rob Gwinn of Raymond, Megan and Trevor Daily of Springfield, Denny and Sara Barker of Farmersville, Kathy and Bob Worley of Raleigh Durham NC, Carolyn Stokes of MN, Joe and Debbie Mormino of Utah.

She was preceded in death by siblings Mike, Salvatore “Willie”, Rosario, Sarah, Ann, Mary and Mayme Mormino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday August 1 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St Agnes Catholic church in Hillsboro with Fr. Dan Willenborg officiating.

Burial will be in St. Agnes Catholic church in Hillsboro.
