Verna Marie McAnarney, age 85 of Farmersville, passed on April 3, 2017 She was born on February 5, 1932 in Farmersville, the daughter of William and Ruth Gerhard Warnick

She married Raymond Joseph McAnarney on Sep. 29, 1956 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Farmersville.

She worked as an Insurance Clerk at Franklin Life.

She belonged to St. Mary’s Church in Farmersville.

Verna is survived by two daughters Maureen (Patrick) Hanneken of Jerseyville, IL and Diane (Don) Murphy of Harvel.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Sarah Hanneken-Myers, Ruth (George) Hanneken- Schultz both of Godfrey, Kevin M. (Micki) Murphy and Lauren E. (fiancé Travis Crocks) Murphy of Springfield, IL and great grandchildren, Alex and Ryan Myers and Emily Galore and Leah Murphy.

Besides her husband parents, two sons, David Allen and Gregory Paul McAnarney, a daughter Judith Ann McAnarney, granddaughter Megan, preceded her in death. Also 3 brothers Homer Warnick, Eldon Warnick, and Irvin Wayne Warnick and 2-sisters I. Eloise Marten and Mary Jane Hays preceded her.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on April 8, 2017 at the Funeral Home in Farmersville.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am also at the funeral home.

Memorials maybe left to the Farmersville/Waggoner Ambulance.

Private family Burial will be held in St. Martins Cemetery.

Hough Funeral Home in Farmersville is assisting the Family.
