Don L. White 81 of Irving passed away Nov 6, 2019 at Tremont Ridge Assisted Living in Hillsboro.
He was born Dec. 20, 1937 in Hillsboro IL to Wilbur and Zelma (Caulk) White.
He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Bradley University in Peoria.
He worked at Eagle-Picher for over 20 years and farmed with his brother. He was past owner of Country Kitchen Restaurant in Irving.
He served in the US Airforce, member of the Hillsboro Moose Club, retired TWP supervisor, sexton at Irving Cemetery, member of the Luck and Buck Saddle Club enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
He married Nina Faye Clark on Oct. 17, 1959 in Denison TX., and she preceded him in death in 2009.
He is survived by his children Laurie (Allan) Weitekamp of Farmersville, Denise (Grant) Wise, Michele (Larry) Reincke and Randy (Terra) White all of Irving, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, one brother Dale White of Irving.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Don White Jr. in infancy and one Brother James White.
Memorial service will be Saturday Nov. 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Randy Sands officiating, visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
Burial will be in Irving Cemetery with military rites conducted by Irving American Legion #425 and VFW Post 1306 of Taylor Springs.
