Kevin "Smiley" Catalano

Kevin “Smiley” Catalano 57 of Butler formerly of Litchfield passed away July 24, 2019 at his residence.

He was born July 13, 1962 in Springfield IL to Guyseppe and Patricia (Walsh) Catalano.

He was a 1980 graduate of Litchfield High School.

He was and an over the road truck driver and diesel mechanic for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing hunting and camping. He was a dirt track race fan.

He married Joyce Charland then later married Patricia Ryan in December 2008.

He is survived by his wife Patty and children Amanda (Joseph) Gault of Butler, Kassandra Dunaway of Butler and Savanah Peppers of Rantoul, two grandchildren Brooklyn and Autumn, siblings Donnie Pryor of Eagarville,  Candy (Elvin) Garst of  Eagarville, William (Billie Jean) Catalano of Litchfield, Vince (Barb) Catalano of Litchfield, Tim (Patty) Catalano of Mt. Olive , Vickie (Steve) Hefley of Hillsboro, Joseph (Amanda) Catalano of Springfield, Carla Catalano of Springfield, Ricky (Aleshia) Catalano of Springfield, Missy (Bud) Catalano of Springfield, Kim Catalano of Springfield and Christina (Chad) Wright of Petersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild Peyton.

Funeral service will be Monday July 29 2019 at 4:00 PM Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rem Dyas officiating, visitation will be Monday from 2:00 PM until service time.

Private family burial will be held at a later date.
