Leslie Bray Obituary

Leslie “Les” D. Bray, age 86, of Carlinville, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Les was born in Edwardsville on March 14, 1931 to the late Leslie Jefferson and Clara Ellen Gertrude Richards Bray.

He served in the US Army and worked in the area as a Gunsmith for many years.

He married Alice Hedden in Carlinville on January 25, 1980. She preceded him on November 28, 2011.

He is survived by his children; daughter, Mary (companion Rick Reznicek) Bray of Carlinville, son. Steve (Donelda) Bray of Greenfield, 2 Grand daughters Kaitlyn Brockmiller and Brooke Ruyle and grandsons; Shane (Christina) Bray of Kewanee, IL, Craig (Alex) Bray of New York, and Andy (Liz) Spade of Carlinville also 3 great great grand Children. He is survived by his step children; Tom Gracey of Benld, Jim Gracey of Carlinville, Jeff Gracey of Benld, and Anita Hunt of Carlinville. Besides his parents and wife two sisters and a stepdaughter Cindy Dixon preceded him.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
