M. Jean Convery, 87, of Farmersville died Friday, April 14, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.

Jean was born August 31, 1929, in Farmersville, the daughter of Paul and Loretta McLean Convery. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and John Bernard.

Jean was involved with the family farm operation, and, later was employed by Dickey-John until her retirement.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Society in Farmersville.

Survivors include her cousins, Mary M. Plummer Conlon and  Larry W. Plummer; also, friends, Dennis and Lisa Hobson.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Farmersville.  Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service, Reverend Gerald Bunse officiating.

Burial:   St. Martin’s Cemetery in Farmersville.

Hough Funeral Home, Farmersville is in charge of arrangements.
