Margurette “Peggy” M. Moore, 88, of Farmersville, died at 2:02 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab.
Friends may call from 4 until 7pm Monday, June 26, at the Farmersville United Methodist Church. Funeral services will take place Tuesday , June 27 at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held at Rovey Cemetery at Farmersville.
Mrs. Moore was born in Farmersville, October 10, 1928, the twin daughter of the late Emil Frank and Della (Green) Beil
She married Harry W.Moore in Farmersville, Aug. 17, 1947.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Farmersville where she served as treasurer and secretary for many years. She helped with the Meals on Wheels program and the area Panhandle Food Pantry.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine (husband Robert) Walch of Raymond, and Denise Moore (husband Craig) Manifold of Helotes, TX; a son, Greg Moore of Springfield; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, ; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Merle-Ree Millburg of Morrisonville also survives.
Her brothers; Myron, Maclee, Milton, Mervin, Marion, Melvin and Maynard, and 3 sisters Mildred Podshadley and twin sister Margaret Boston, Mary Ella Boswell, also a grandson Riley A. Walch preceded her in death.
Memorials may be left the Panhandle Food Pantry.
