Mary Chesser Obituary
Mary A. (Burke) Chesser 68 of Hillsboro passed away Oct. 1, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born on Nov. 1, 1950 in Taylorville IL to Everett and Dorothy L. (Wilkins) Burke.
She was a graduate of Taylorville High School and she was a graduate of Capital Area School of Nursing in Springfield.
She was a nurse at St. Francis for many years and worked as head nurse for Dr. Dan Wujek at Litchfield Family Practice.
She was a member of The Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro; she enjoyed and loved her family and her church.
She is survived by one Daughter Jami (husband Michael) Sarsany of Hillsboro, three granddaughters Jordan, London and Peyton Sarsany of Hillsboro, one Great Grandson Paxton Sarsany of Hillsboro one brother Donald Aull of Litchfield two nieces Hope and Heather Aull, two nephews Ron and Steve Burke.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jack Burke.
A visitation will be Saturday Oct. 5, 2019 at the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro from 2-5 p.m.
A private burial will be at a later date.
