Michael L. Guinn

Michael L. Guinn Sr. 50 of Hillsboro passed away Sunday Nov 10 2019 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 5, 1968 in Bethalto IL to George and Mary (Massey) Guinn.

He was a Graduate of Hillsboro High School and graduated from CNA Classes in Litchfield IL. He served in the US Army.

He worked as a CNA for over 30 years at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation in Taylor Springs and Hillsboro Health Care. He loved and was loved by the residence and co-workers, and he loved his family and grandson.

He married Rosemary Renfro on Dec. 30, 1988.

He is survived by his mother Mary, Wife Rosemary, one son Michael L. Guinn Jr of Hillsboro, Daughter Cassandra “Cassie” Guinn and fiancé Jarred Rufus of Hillsboro and one grandson Kahl Michael Rufus, siblings Joyce Eckelbarger of IN, Georgia Gunn of Hillsboro, Patty Meyers of Hillsboro, Barbara Hopley of Irving, George A Guinn II of Walshville, Emma Ruth Sprock of Mo. and Susan Guinn of MO.

He was preceded in death by his father George and one sister Diana Happy

Funeral services will be Friday Nov. 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Kenny Vallelonga, pastor of World Harvest Church in Hillsboro. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery.
