Patricia Beryl Hudson, age 69, of Waggoner, passed away on Saturday, June 10th at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

Patricia was born October 11, 1947, in Llanelli, South Wales, United Kingdom, to the late Douglas and Eileen Davis Jenkins. Pat was raised in Groveland, NY.

Patricia was first married to LeRoy M. DeLaVergne of Geneseo, NY and shared two children together.

Patricia married David B. Hudson of Castile, NY. Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 35 wonderful years.

Patricia leaves behind three children, Jennifer (Mark) Jennings of Oswego, Jason (Tammy) DeLaVergne of Plainfield, and Ashley (Paul) Kinsella of Edwardsville, IL. She is also a proud grandmother of Chelsea Grady, Jessica DeLaVergne, Megan and Alison Jennings, Emily Sherwood, Finnegan and Piper Kinsella. She was also a cherished aunt, cousin, and niece by relatives in both the US and in the UK.

Patricia retired from her life as a Comptroller and pursued a lifelong dream of becoming an Author. Pat has since published sixteen books and short stories with a few to be released posthumously. She was a passionate horse owner and followed her horse, Juno, on the Eventing Circuit. When not writing or on the road, Pat could be found enjoying family or tending to her flower gardens.

Funeral services for Family and Friends will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation in honor of Mrs. Hudson be given to St. Jude’s, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Alzheimer’s Association, the Panhandle Pantry in Raymond, IL, or a charity of your choice.
