Roy Richard Cravens 70 of Litchfield passed away Aug. 24, 2017 at his residence.

He was born Oct 14, 1946 in Carlinville IL to William H. and Edna (Thornton) Cravens.

He worked at Valley Steel in Carlinville and at the foundry in Alton and was a farmhand.

He is survived by three daughters Edna (Companion Jason) Cravens of Litchfield, Nia (Heather) Mehlberg of Hillsboro and Pam Cravens of Brighton, one sister Peggy (Ed) McLarty and one brother Sammy Cravens both of Litchfield, several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward, Elmer and Earl David and sisters Helen and Lilly.

Funeral services will be Tuesday August 29 at 12:00 P.M.at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Don Hudelson officiating, a visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.
