Ruth Ann Heselov Obituary

Ruth Ann Heselov of Hillsboro passed away July 27, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Oct 4, 1939 in Hillsboro IL to Loren and Bernice (Johnston) Bandy.

She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Washington University in St Louis. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro and the D.A.R., she enjoyed and received awards for quilting.

She married James “Jim” Heselov and he preceded her in death in 2015.

She was co-owner and operator of Heselov’s Style Shop Inc. in Hillsboro, the Boutique by Heselov’s in Hillsboro and Taylorville and the Boutique II by H.G. in Granite City.

She is survived by one son Zach Heselov of Granite City, 3 grandchildren, one aunt Emma Jean Jackson, one sister in law Bonnie husband Mark Goldenberg of Granite City, one cousin Debbie Hoffman and several other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jim.

Funeral services will be Friday August 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro with Rev. Mike Lawton officiating, visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Coffeen.

Memorials can be directed to the United Methodist Church, Paws Care or the Hillsboro Public Library.
