Viola Nockman Obituary

Viola (Tootie) Rose Harrison Nockman 82, of Hillsboro passed away Nov 24, 2019 at her residence. She was born Feb. 5, 1937 in Petterson New Jersey to Betty Harrison. She married Lester Nockman on April 24, 1954 in White City IL and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2018. Mrs. Nockman retired from Hillsboro Hospital; she also worked at Montgomery County Nursing Home and Roller Derby in Litchfield. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her family, working on crossword puzzle books and playing gin rummy. Mrs. Nockman is survived by her children Betty (Edward) Kuhl of Sorento Il, Patty (Jerry) Kellenberger of Taylor Springs, IL, Mary Duvall of Hillsboro, grandchildren Ronnie and Shane Cook of Sorento, Cory Eulberg of Kewanee IL, Jesse Turner of Godfrey IL, Crystal Flint of Hillsboro, Amy Irwin of Hillsboro, Jason Nockman of Hillsboro, two step granddaughters Cindy Goth of Springfield and Anna Fredick of San Antonio TX, 13 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her parents Betty (Harry) Paisley, husband, and one son William “Billy” Nockman. Memorials can be directed to Residential Home Health Care. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
