Beckie (Garrett) Scurlock

Beckie E. Scurlock 60 of Litchfield, formerly of Hillsboro passed away on May 20, 2021 at her residence.

She was born March 7, 1961 in St Louis Mo to Fred and Gladys (Kenuam) Garrett.

She was a 1979 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She was a homemaker and had worked as a laundry aid at Hillsboro rehab and health care center in Hillsboro. She was a gypsy at heart and loved for her feisty spirit. She was Mom to many bonus children and Nan to all her grandchildren’s friends.

She is survived by two sons Cory Garrett of Highland and John Scurlock of Litchfield and one daughter Amanda (Charles) Dykema of Litchfield and four grandchildren. She was the baby of her family and survived by her siblings Shirley Gansert, Glenda Powell, Freddy Garrett, Danny Garrett, Terry Garrett and Tonia Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Martha Henderson and Doris Smith.
