Obituary
Bennie E. Humphrey 59 of Nokomis formerly of Irving passed away July 6, 2023 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield.
He was born in Waynesboro MS on Jan. 31, 1964 to Eugene and JoAnn (Abrahams) Humphrey.
He worked on Drilling Riggs with welding and seismographs. He loved to work with his hands including carpentry, arts, crafts and automobiles.
He is survived by his companion of over 26 years, Cindy Mansley and children Jacob Mercer of Waynesboro MS, Lavone Humphrey of Los Banos CA, Tiffany Payne of Stillwater OK and Cahokia Humphrey of Nokomis, siblings Brenda White of OR, Wayne Humphrey of Thailand and Joe Humphrey of MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Lindell White.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 5:00 PM; a visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until service time, all at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
