Bobby Smith Obituary
Bobby W. Smith 57 of Mt. Olive passed away March 11, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born in Hammond IN on Oct. 26, 1960 to Robert L. and Mary Louise (Cable) Smith.
He was a construction laborer in the St. Louis Area and was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed working on and building racing engines and cars, and helping friends with their cars.
He was a member of All Nations Worship Center in Litchfield and The Potters House in Dallas TX and Labor Local 42.
He married Betty Friesland on May 14, 1984.
He is survived by his wife Betty, mother Mary Louise Cable and five daughters Laura (Jeremy) Vernon of New Mexico, Shelia (Aaron) Jack of Litchfield, Bobbie Jo (Jacob) Walker of Litchfield, Jennifer Smith of Litchfield and Rebecca Smith of Mt. Olive, 6 granddaughters, 3 sisters Brenda, Ginger and Rhonda Smith and 6 brothers Robert, Larry, Scott, Gregory, Jeff and Jackie Smith.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Elizabeth in infancy, his father Robert, one sister Sheri Smith and 2 uncles Frank and Paul Benish.
Funeral service will be Thursday March 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Don Hudelson officiating, visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 until service time.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.
