Brenda (Vollintine) Giller

Brenda Giller 63 of Hillsboro passed away Dec. 23, 2024, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

Brenda was born Sept. 18, 1961, in Litchfield IL to Randle and Georgina (Lloranes) Vollintine.

She was a graduate of Litchfield high school; she was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, dancing and playing pool. It is said that Brenda never met a stranger.

Brenda married Herbert S. Giller, and he preceded her on April 14, 2009.

She is survived by one daughter Stevie Tallman and her fiancée Austin Lamar and one son Randle (Sarey) Giller of Wamac IL, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, siblings Louis Vollintine of Panama, Nora (Mike) Daniels of Virden, Margarita (Jerry) Mays of Shobonier and Sandra Vollintine of Greenville, sister in-law Marcie Vollintine and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Warren Burdell and Earl Vollintine, one niece and one nephew and a daughter-in-law.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
