Carl Miller

Carl Miller 76 of Hillsboro passed away April 29, 2021, at 1:30 PM at Hillsboro Country Club while enjoying his favorite pastime where he had been a member for several years.

He was born Sept. 16, 1944 in Pana IL, to Richard and Margaret (Jacobs) Miller.

He was a 1962 graduate of Berkeley High School in Ferguson MO.

He was retired from the Hillsboro Street Department where he worked for 29 years.

He served in the US Airforce as a medic. While in Boston, he also studied business administration at Northeastern University. While growing up he was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Florissant MO.

He married Bonnie Alvey in Romeoville IL at St. Andrews Catholic Church on June 14, 1969.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Leigh Ann Miller, one sister Kathy Heitman and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ron Miller, one sister Janice Laughlin, and in 2020 his beloved Yorkie, of fifteen years, Bailey.

Per his request, no services will be held at this time.
