Catherine M. "Kitty" Crawford, 84, passed away on February 23, 2023 at 20:50 at her home in Litchfield, IL. Catherine was born on July 08, 1938 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of Ralph N. and Wilma Hancock Shade. Catherine was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church Near Raymond, she was a homemaker and volunteered at Love Packages in Butler. Her past-times included; Square Dancing, attending Harold Stokes Painting Classes, tending to her flower gardens, enjoying the outdoors, watching Birds family genealogy, singing and playing guitar, visiting the Nursing home where she entertained the residents with her music
Preceded in death by her parents her sons; Gary Crawford, Randy Crawford, David Crawford, her brothers; John Shade, Jack Shade. Catherine is survived by husband; Harold Crawford; Children Mark (wife, Sharon) Crawford of Litchfield, Cathy (companion, Rick Rocha) Traylor of Litchfield, Steve ( Companion, Dawn Rowan) Crawford of Walshville, 12 grand children, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Also surviving her are a brother, Kenneth (wife, Dois ) Shade, and a sister, Patricia (husband, Bill) Ward and two daughter in laws Alice Crawford and Brandi Crawford of Staunton. Visitation will be held fan hour before the service at Pleasant Hill Christian Church funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor David Ziegenbein officiating.
