Charles “Charlie” Jacob Sale 86 of Hillsboro passed away Jan 17, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born Feb. 23, 1934 in Raymond IL to William and Bernice (Hill) Sale.

He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1953 and was a laborer. He was a member of the Shriners, masonic lodge and the Hillsboro Moose. He was a us Army Veteran active with Military police.

He is survived by two sisters Elenor Shroyer of Mt. Olive and Helen Fernandes of Springfield, two aunts and one uncle and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother William “Willie Sale and two sisters in infancy.

Private services were held.

Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond
