Cleola (Kasten) Brackett

Cleola (Kasten) Brackett 95 of Coffeen passed away Friday Nov. 12, 2021 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation in Hillsboro.

She was born May 14, 1926 in Belleville IL to Richard and Cecelia Kasten.

She was a graduate of Coffeen High School. She enjoyed watching wildlife, she loved to bake and cook since the age of 5. She farmed and raised livestock with her husband until their retirement.

She married William Brackett on June 7, 1947 in Mentor Lodge in rural Coffeen and he preceded her in death Dec. 19, 2006.

She is survived by her daughter Cherlyn K. Brackett of Coffeen

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:45 PM.

Grave side services and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro on Tuesday Nov. 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Jeff Hemken officiating.
