Cody Faingnaert

Cody Faingnaert, age 35, passed away on February 18, 2024, in Argyle, Iowa.

Cody was born on July 1, 1988, in Hillsboro, Illinois to his parents Paul A. Faingnaert Jr. and Paula (Watson) Boerckel.

He worked as a truck driver for LCL Farms Inc.

He married, but later divorced, Courtney Balding. He loved video gaming and motorcycling.

Cody was loved and respected member of Brothers of Morte, with whom he served as road captain. He shared and inspired countless laughs, stories and adventures with his club members

He is survived by his mother Paula (Charles) Boerckel of Hillsboro, children; Kacie Reisinger of Benld, Jaime Faingnaert, Lyndsay Faingnaert and Annabelle Faingnaert all of Hillsboro and one step-son Heath Greathouse, his aunts; Tammy Elwood of Hillsboro, Yvonne Hilburn of Lousiana, Shannon (Chris) Gunn of Taylorville, Teresa (Apollo) Guy of Florida, Donna (Jim) Hoff of Rochester IL, Lori (Tom) Burgess of Pierron IL, Lisa (Todd) Erickson of Livingston IL and Uncle Mike Boerckel of Litchfield, a grandmother Wanda Boerckel of Litchfield, and his brothers Dylan (Lacey) Faingnaert of Virden and Marshall Ryder Faingnaert of Donaldson, Arkansas.

Cody was survived by, but is now preceded in death by, his Grandfather James Watson and Grandmother Lola Watson; His father Paul Faingnaert Jr. and Grandfather Paul Faingnaert Sr., Grandparents Norman and Bonnie Forester, and Grandfather Charles Boerckel. He was also preceded in death by his Uncle Rickey Leon Watson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8, 2024, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Montgomery County Housing Community Building. Cody will be buried in Clear Springs Cemetery following the service.

Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of the services.
