Crystal Lee Gibson

Crystal Lee Gibson (Lloyd), 47, of Mattoon IL, passed away on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at Montgomery Nursing Home. Crystal was born in Worcester Massachusetts and had moved to Mattoon IL for family.
Crystal was a kind and caring mother of 5. She is survived by her 5 children, 4 siblings, and 3 grandchildren. Children; Miranda Fitzpatrick, Christopher "Colton" Abbott, Matthew Tracy, Ashlee Richard, and Alexander Richard. Siblings; Richard Hoffman, Kimberly Hughes, John Crum, and Marisa Lloyd. Crystal was proceeded in death by her parents, Donna Supernor, and Wayne Lloyd, as well as her nephew, Nicholas Hoffman.
Crystal loved her children and grandchildren more than anything, however she suffered from a rare genetic disease that she eventually lost her life to. Crystal always tried to see the good in everybody, she had such a loving soul.
"Lord, grant eternal rest to Crystal. May your light shine upon them, and may they be welcomed into your loving embrace. Amen"
God, we entrust Crystal into your loving arms. May Jesus Christ welcome them into the promise of heaven, where there is no more pain of loss, only the love of God. Grant them eternal rest, oh god, and let your perpetual light shine upon them. Amen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Crystal’s honor may be directed to the donor’s choice.

A Memorial Service for Crystal will be held at Hough & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17th, 2025, at 12:00 PM. A visitation will begin an hour prior starting at 11:00 AM.
