David "Dave" L. Rolland

David “Dave” Lloyd Rolland, aged 69, of Litchfield, passed away at his residence surrounded by family on October 25, 2023.

Dave was born on December 17, 1953, in Litchfield to his parents Newton C. and Darlene B. (Niemann) Rolland.

He worked as a mechanic and truck driver. Dave was a part of the Litchfield Moose, the Baptist faith, and enjoyed his friends, family, and playing poker.

He was married to Charla Keeton then Sheryl Denny; he is survived by his fiancé Lisa Deavers of Litchfield

Dave is also survived by his children Davey Rolland of Springfield, Mike (fiancé Elaine) of Greenville, Clark Rolland of Litchfield, Bobbie (Scott) Rolland of Gillespie, Matt (fiancé Ashley) Rolland of Lawrenceville, 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, siblings Laura Mae (Ed) Carney of Litchfield and Lawrence (Melissa) Rolland of Litchfield several nephews and a niece and friends including best friends Rick (Donna) McDonald and Rod (Diane) Bess.

Besides his parents, Dave is also preceded in death by a grandchild, Clark Rolland Jr. and a brother Butch Rolland.

Memorials in Dave’s honor may be directed towards the family.

A visitation for Dave will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro from 11:00 – 1:00. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Phillip L. Easton officiating. Burial is in Crabtree Cemetery, Litchfield.
