Delmar EuGene Fletcher, 74, of Creal Springs, passed away Sunday April 23rd, 2023. Graveside service will be held on July 15th at Cress Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL at 11:00 A.M.

He was born Feb. 11th, 1949 a son of Marvel Lee Fletcher and Carrie Mae Fletcher (Gerley). He married Veronica Ann Fletcher (Lane) in December of 1965. She preceded in 1989. He served as a deputy sheriff for the Montgomery County, IL sheriff’s department for 20+ years. He was a beloved father and grandfather. He loved being around his family, friends and horses.

He is survived by daughter Crystal (Rusty) Wallace of Litchfield, IL., son Del Gene (Carol) Fletcher of Creal Springs, IL., daughter Dakota Fletcher of Creal Springs, and daughter Rylie Fletcher of Creal Springs; 6 grandchildren, Katie Wallace of Litchfield, IL, Taylor (Gerrid) Rose of Colorado Springs, CO., Shane (Heather) Wallace of Pocahontas, IL., Summar (Blaine) Burk of Johnston City, IL., Peyton Fletcher of St. Peters, MO., Jordan Bradford, Jr. of Creal Springs, IL and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Kenneth Fletcher of Litchfield, IL., sister Angela Maguire of Walshville, IL. and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded by daughter Katie Sue Fletcher and 3 sisters, Karen Mount, Nancy Kloth, and Julie Bell Light.
