Donna R. (Miller) Roach

Donna R. (Miller) Roach 87 of Hillsboro passed away Jan. 16, 2022 at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab.

She was born in Nokomis IL on Dec. 23, 1934 to Albert and Rose (Hueschen) Miller.

She was a graduate of Nokomis High School and worked for 42 years at Hillsboro glass factory. She was a past member of the Hillsboro Moose and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed entertaining and was well known for playing her organ at many local places including Nursing Homes, the Moose Club and at her class reunions.

She was preceded in death by two husbands Elmer Kessler and Henry Roach. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion Don Clausen.

She is survived by two sons Greg Kessler of Hillsboro and Gary (Paula) Roach of Hillsboro, five grandchildren Emma Hughes, Danielle Uhlry, Amanda King, Eric Kessler and Austin Roach, also surviving are great grandchildren Braidyn Uhlry, Izabella Uhlry, Johanna King, KehLahni Clark, Ethan King, Robert Sherman and Chatham Kessler. She is survived by one sister Irma Waddington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and companion, one son Donald in infancy and one brother Ivan Miller.

Memorials can be directed to Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be Saturday Jan. 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Randy Sands officiating. Visitation will be Friday Jan 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
