Doris L (Pratt) EDGE

PEKIN - Doris L. Edge, 91, of Pekin, IL, formerly of Raymond, passed away on January 18, 2020, at Pekin Manor in Pekin.

Doris was born November 1, 1928 in Waggoner, IL , born the daughter of Charles and Flossie (Reeves) Pratt.

She married William Frank Edge on August 3, 1946 in Virden; He preceded her on July 31, 2002

She worked nor a number of years as a waitress at Arts in Farmersville and tended bar at Raymond Inn

She and her husband owned and operated Edge Inn in Raymond from 1979 until 2000

She is survived by a daughter, Connie (Jim) Kraus of Pekin; a granddaughter, Kim (Jeff) DuPage of Bradenton, FL and a grandson Jeff (Mary) Kraus, of Pekin. She is also survived by 2 great Granddaughters, Katie (Logan) Heberer of East Peoria and Sydney DuPage of Bradenton, FL  3 Great Grandsons, Nathan Kraus, Andrew Kraus and Ben Kraus all of Pekin  Great Great Grandson Nolan Heberer of E. Peoria. Also surviving one sister Carol Leonard Vance of Farmersville.

Besides her parents and husband Frank, a daughter, Sue Edge in 1966 and son Lynn Edge in 2010, and her five sisters, Geraldine, Pearl, Ginny, Margy and Shirley, preceded her. 

Visitation will be held January 23, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 pm at A Community of Faith Church in Raymond. Funeral will be held at 12:30 service and Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Raymond.

Memorials may be given to the Compassus Hospice Care in Pekin.
