Dorothy L. (Maroney) Matthews 83 of Taylor Springs passed away June 15, 2019 at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born June 23, 1935 in Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her father and Step mother Russell and Dorothy Maroney and her mother Linda (Roper) Pownall. She worked at Kinks Korner in Hillsboro. She married Kenneth Matthews in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 2015. She is survived by her children Debby Hampton of Taylor springs, Rick (Cathy) Matthews of Hillsboro, Terry (Vicki) Matthews of Hillsboro, Kelly (Alice) Matthews of Hillsboro, Chad (Renee) Matthews of Taylor Springs, Jamie Boucher of Redding CA., and Rusty Boucher of Taylor Springs., 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren one brother Larry (Sheila) Maroney, Along with her parents, husband she was preceded in death by her daughter Vickie Slagel in 2017 and one sister Carol Ash. Private family services will be at a later date. Memorials can be directed to donor’s choice.
