Edith Augusta (Posthuma) Bedinghaus

Edith Augusta Bedinghaus age 93 of Farmersville passed away February 12, 2021 , at Carlinville Nursing and Rehab in Carlinville.

She was born February 12, 1928 Blue Island, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Augusta Edith Goetz Posthuma.

She married William F. Bedinghaus on May 7, 1955, who preceded her on January 24th , 2021

She, with her husband was a farmer and homemaker, working on the family farm where she and her husband raised their family. 

 She is survived by sons; Mark wife Ruth Bedinghaus of Palmyra, Anthony companion, Susan Jennings Bedinghaus, of Monee, IL, Jacqueline husband Bernie Riddle of Springfield, Deborah husband Dave Waggoner of Waggoner, Theresa husband John Bomar of San Antonio, TX, Grand Children; Adam and Joy, Seth, Andrea, Kyle, Erika, Lucas, Brandon and Lindsay, Dane and Katie, Carly and Scott, Cassandra, Amanda and Richard, Robert and seven Great Grand Children. Siblings, Lawrence Posthuma of New Lenox, IL, and Patricia husband Ray Loar of New Lenox, IL survives. 

Besides her parents, and husband, her siblings Mary Muscato and Betty Pitluck preceded her in death.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday February 18th at 11:00am at St. Mary Church in Farmersville, and visitation will be held from 9-11. Burial will be in St. Martins Catholic Cemetery in Farmersville
